Hi Marty
This used to be my cnc machine that i built at my day job. It was used for prototyping as well as production parts rework and was often run by the production staff.

It has quite a few features that use i/o like the pneumatic door on the tempered 1/4" thick glass enclosure, air blast, mist ...

I started laying out the control panel this week and finished mounting most of the components last night. With my schedule, I don't get a lot of spare time to work on this, but I'm committed now!

I had this problem with a customers machine, worked perfect upon delivery, Customers computer expert updated windows, setup wifi internet and who knows what else.....

I had him follow the computer setup video so he could turn off all the stuff that causes problems, everything went back to working ...

I just manually add to my program the WCS command before each section of the program I want a wcs.
I run this job several times a year and I have these WCS set and I never reuse them so whenever I run this job, I just call up the program and run it (assuming I haven't changed vise or jaw locations ...

I have used a few of these estop switches with enclosures from automation direct. not as cost effective as the ones you purchased, but if you cannot wait on the slow boat, they have them in stock and you can get them pretty quick

I swapped the board from my G540 system and the e-stop input works on the second board just like it did when it was first wired up to the now faulty board.

I have all of the inputs hooked up and all work fine except for input 3. Input 3 was working fine, it was the first input I connected. I just noticed that it wasn't working a couple days ago. the cable that goes from the control pendant to the electronics cabinet is a shielded cable, it is only ...

When I do that, Input 3 does not change, the rest of the inputs work as expected. Input 3 was working fine in the beginning. It quit working after I wired up inputs 4 and 5 to use as cycle start and feed hold as the machines old retrofit control panel has a switch for feed hold and cycle start.
