I started laying out the control panel this week and finished mounting most of the components last night. With my schedule, I don't get a lot of spare time to work on this, but I'm committed now!
Here is an old page showing the machine with the Ahha artisan control software from what seems like a lifetime ago : http://www.grifftek.com/grifftek/Custom ... _TMC-1000/
I will continue to add photos to the Google Photos page as time progresses!
Here are a few teaser photos:

Hi Marty
This used to be my cnc machine that i built at my day job. It was used for prototyping as well as production parts rework and was often run by the production staff.
It has quite a few features that use i/o like the pneumatic door on the tempered 1/4" thick glass enclosure, air blast, mist coolant pneumatic clamp, pneumatic vacuum generator (added after we got our rotary screw air compressors) there are also 3 controllable ac outlets for things like a vacuum cleaner, rotary vane vacuum pump, or disco lights and fog machine. I also had one of the 3 color lights to mount on the top of the machine that was never implemented but could be now if the new owner sees any value in it.
The auxiliary ac outlets were powered from a separate circuit. The control box that I built also had 4 controlled outlets built in so I could run say the vacuum cleaner off one circuit and the vacuum pump could run from a second 20 amp circuit. the first facility was leased and we couldn't re wire so I had to make due with what was available. Now I can set it up for 3 phase if I want to.
For inputs, there is a door interlock switch, a vacuum sensor, a pressure sensor for the pneumatic clamps, dual switches for cycle start (which were never implemented properly). I also had a part present switch but that was more trouble than it was worth.
Overkill for sure but it was a useful and productive machine for my employer.
Did you check out the page at the grifftek link?
Regards
Bill

Very interesting build. Machine was selected for specific tasks that suit it well.
Thanks for sharing this build Bill.
