I believe this is now solved.

Ran it with the VFD cabinet door open, no fault. Odd. Closed the door, fault.

Checked, VFD error was E.oU.d on the HY unit.

I then remembered that I had set the acceleration time for the VFD from 8 seconds to 3, same as the ramp down.

Anyone who runs a HY VFD ...

Is use a Clearpath Integrated Servo motor. Step and Direction. Can Acorn use this motor as a spindle motor and thread?

Acorn can not use step and direction for spindle control!

Acorn outputs 0-10vdc control for motor speed and uses relays to initiate start and stop of a VFD for spindle ...
