I have bought the GT series also. 2.2kw. I have a question for you, the VFD has the terminals, I can't add the resistor later? Do I need to ask before buying? Ran it with the VFD cabinet door open, no fault. Odd. Closed the door, fault.
Checked, VFD error was E.oU.d on the HY unit.
I then remembered that I had set the acceleration time for the VFD from 8 seconds to 3, same as the ramp down.
Anyone who runs a HY VFD knows they have no internal braking and the E.oU.d is often due to overvoltage at ramp down. The door was just luck of the draw. Set the ramp to 6 secs both ways, door closed, no error.
When I do use them, I use the GT series, supposedly sensorless vector drive

You get what you pay for. They are too cheap to put the braking resistor circuitry (unless they have recently changed) in the drive. You have to request it.
