Difference between router and mill

Post by LenelyWolf »

Hi
I’m just installing centroid on my new pc. What differences it will make if I chose between mill and router. Is it just for simulation purposes or VCD or does it make any difference in gcode? I’m building router for milling steel and aluminium

Keith's summary, on the link I posted, clearly states the differences in configuration.

Edited to say the base software is identical and can be configured to however you wish. No change in G Code or Intercon programming
Hope this helps
