Hi guys would just like to say hello! I’m new to acorn and new to this forum. I have a Laguna IQ pro with Richauto B57 controller that is driving me insane with all kinds of problems. I’m looking to install the ACORN.
My question is, does anybody know what the positive and negatives are on this output for the stepper drives? The wires in my machine now are marked with negative and positive but the control board from ACORN is not. If someone could please help me out with this greatly appreciated!
Also, if anyone has done this before and can share some photos, that would be great. I’ve tried looking around and can’t find much information on the ACORN to Richauto

Steppers are connected to the DB25 connector and not the headers on the Acorn board. You would do well to read the Acorn Install Manual, and find the proper Acorn schematic for your drives and steppers.
All of the Acorn documentation is located here: viewtopic.php?t=3397

I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

Re: Richauto to acorn
As Tom mentioned your stepper drives do not wire up to those headers, those connections are for servo drives. This is outlined in the install manual.
If you start a google photo album for your retrofit to share pics of the electrical cabinet and also share what stepper drives you have with a link to the drive manual we could be of more help. We could at least point you to a proper schematic for your stepper drives to follow. Several people have converted from that Chinese controller to Acorn over the years.
