Morning,
This maybe my fault as I’m not familiar with the Intercon program.
When opening a new file/drawing in Intercon ….the default hook stays on screen.? I click File> New and I don’t get a blank screen start new drawing.
The hook stays on screen. When I import dxf it installs it over the hook? It did this also before the reinstall of Intercon.
This makes Intercon somewhat of a challenge to use!
Your help would be much appreciated….. Thanks Doug

Re: Intercon question
When creating a file you will need to except the title and programer menu to get a new job.
If you just escape out then intercon will not create a new job.

Re: Intercon question
Hi Joey,
Thanks for that info!
Now that I can open a clean drawing the previous problem of not being able to open a DXF file persists! Computer thinks for 30 sec or so then shuts down Intercon and I get the cnc12 screen.
Thanks

Re: Intercon question
Do you get the same shutdown behavior when using F8 Graph? I'm wondering if this is a graphics driver issue.
Cheers,
Tom

Re: Intercon question
Hi,
Yes the response is the same on the graph.
It’s a new computer and it so happens it wanted to do a rather long update to the drivers , was hopping for a miracle but not so, the same thing happens. Sometimes I get the almost the full dxf drawing downloaded…as soon as it’s almost finished it shuts down and reverts to the cnc12 screen. Thanks for the info

Re: Intercon question
If your computer has a separate graphics card, you might try a different one. If it's integrated graphics, do you have another computer you can try?
Cheers,
Tom

Re: Intercon question
Could you pls. try R12?
That version works best in the mill software. Also splines have to be converted into curves or small lines. CNC12 can only read arcs and straight lines.
