Do I got it right that for a mill the xyz = 123 on the db25?
Or is it zyx=123?

Free choice on the mill, only the lathe is fixed on XZ

Generally, for a mill X is axis 1, Y is axis 2, and Z is axis 3.
With an Acorn, using the Wizard, you can change the DB25 pin mapping to whatever you like however.
