Re: Using Lightburn and rotary

GROSSMSJ: I was able to modify my PP and all it works, thank you for your offer.

Only problem I have now is the linear moves don't burn as well as the curves as they seem to move faster. My rotary is synced for feed but can't seem to get it to work

G37 Velocity Based PWM adjustments

With G37 ON: Smaller corners and rounds the laser PWM is adjusted too low and doesn't burn sometimes
G37 OFF: Gives too much burning on the corners.

Is there a parameter that I can adjust to set how much the PWM is affected with G37 ON?

Re: Using Lightburn and rotary

Sword: I have gone through all the settings and the forums as well. This appears to a common gripe for people using LB. Some people have come up with crazy work arounds for their specific machines but I am not sure how they would work with Centroid.
CNCIAN: I have gone trough all the documentation ...

Using Lightburn and rotary

I have been using Lightburn to generate G Code for my AcornSix. It works pretty well but I wanted to start using my rotating axis as well. Unfortunately Lightburn uses odd settings which don't translate well to the G code in my Acorn. I am using a B axis and the G code uses degrees. Lightburm ...

Re: Laser firing at wrong time

Well I feel like a complete moron...switched to PWM 2 and all is good. Stupid mistake.
Thanks everyone for your time.

Re: Laser firing at wrong time

Sorry, for the AcornSix it there a difference between PWM1 and PWM2 as to functionality or capabilities. Would be a nice easy fix just swaping that.

Re: Laser firing at wrong time

I will upgrade the software this weekend. I am on PWM1.
I have checked the signal with scope and it looks good.

Sun travel: The sample I took the picture of is the sample Gcode that installs with CNC12. The Centroid logo

Re: Laser firing at wrong time

I haven't seen any particular pattern when it happens. I will run this program again multiple times and see what happens. I have noticed it appears more when feed speeds are higher and there are frequent on/off cycles
