Re: Can I get some help with a One Shot OD Turning
If they are not in the backup, the CNC12 installer can be opened as an archive (it's actually a zip file) with 7-Zip, and the files extracted from there. You could also install CNC12 on another computer and copy the files from there.

Re: acorn board communications error after update
Your IP address is correct, so I suspect that this is a Windows Defender issue. Go to Control Panel, choose Windows Defender Firewall, then Allow an app or feature through firewall. Make sure CNC?.exe are checked.

Re: Tree Journeyman 250 CNC
If it's just Z that seems wrong, it's probably a height offset issue. If X and Y seem off, it's probably the last item CNCSNW posited and you are setting one WCS, but your program is calling a different one at the start.

Re: Mist Coolant
How is your valve wired to the relay? It looks like the relay is working correctly, so it's either the solenoid is bad or the wiring is incorrect.

Re: acorn board communications error after update
Have you turned it off recently? Windows likes to turn it back on whenever it feels like it. If you don't see CNCT.exe or CNCM.exe in the exception list, that is probably the reason.

Re: incomplete cutting path? DOC/Z axis issue?
Without photos of your machine and part setup, this seems like classic tool/machine deflection. Your feedrate seems very high for a ballnose EM. Try something more like 1200RPM and 1.5IPM. Instead of evenly spacing your depth passes, try 50%, 75%, 90%, and 100%.

Re: acorn board communications error after update
After it fails, what is the IP address of the computer? From a command prompt, type ipconfig /all and post a photo of the output.

Re: How do I troubleshoot bad threads?
If your lathe is stepper driven, then one other possibility is that your Z stepper cannot handle the acceleration on the thread return and is loosing steps. Turn your feedrate and rapid rates down to 10% and try again.
Your VFD manual will show the proper way to ground the motor cable shield.

Re: How do I troubleshoot bad threads?
Is the cable between your motor and VFD shielded and properly grounded? If you have an oscilloscope, you can look at the A, B, and Z differential pairs coming from your encoder to see if there is noise on those 6 signal lines.
Is this a stepper or servo driven lathe?
