I am using 3 Dual Shaft Nema 34 CNC Stepper Motor 8.5Nm (34HS46-5004D) 5A 86x114mm with the MA860H-N stepper Drives (Leadshine equivalent) and a NEMA 23 motor that came with my open builds prebuilt z axis. That is using a smaller version of the leadshine type driver.

I went to the link and download the wiring diagrams you mentioned but most files failed to open. Of the one that I could open I did not learn much from the diagram. I will just turn on the VFD from a switch.

I think you answered my question. I did not think I could use the ACORN board to control the power on/off of the VFD for the reasons you mentioned.

I was just reviewing your post again. Are you saying that if I hook up my VFD power through the relay 1 or 2, I can remove the spool up delay programmed in the VFD? It was my assumption that the delay was to reduce the wear on the spindle.
