Thanks Marty. Dust collection is working on command via post processor script and MDI input. I just cannot get it to work via the AUX buttons.

Are you using M35 and M36 to turn it off and on?
The next revision of software will be more useful. If you can wait a bit. It is being Beta tested now. Should be a few weeks.

Have you followed Tech Bulletin 300?
http://www.centroidcnc.com/dealersuppor ... ds/300.pdf

I will try and test your scenario later this morning on my bench test unit.

Don't forget that the current release version has a number of AUX buttons that are dedicated to the pendant and other functions. They all (in this version, soon to change) cannot be assigned to "anything" we as users want. Good things come to those that wait.

Marty, I want to say YES that I have followed the tech bulletin - however, since it's not working, I am not 100%. i tried to associate the AUX button with something totally different (to remove the possibility that my script is bad) and that too did not execute.

Also, I am not sure of the utility of those buttons since they do not function while a job is being executed. It would be handy to have the option to turn on a tool (i.e. vacuume, lights etc) while a project is running if you did not add it into your post processing.

For safety reasons they will not work while program is running.

You need the Vac on, use Mcodes in your G code program or launch them from MDI. Otherwise press the Aux key before you run a Gcode program.

I did do some test yesterday and may have found an issue.
I'll try and provide an update Monday afternoon.

There is an issue in V4.12 of CNC12
They are looking at a work around for the current version. They will look to see if they can resolve the issue in an upcoming release.
