Re: Acorn board new project
Hello and welcome to the forums,
1. Stepper drives are connected to the DB25 port, generally using a DB25 breakout board.
And AC servo drives are connected at the screw terminals.
This is covered on page 34 of the Acorn install manual: https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_diy/downloads/acorn ...

Re: X Axis only moves +
What happens if you go into MDI without any faults or errors?
Does X start running away and then give the position error?

Re: Build Thread for Bridgeport Torq-Cut 30
That is very strange.
The best thing to do would be for us to get your console in and see what we can do about it.
Please send an email to support@centroidcnc.com and request an RMA.
Please in the email include a link to this thread and the kit number or serial number for your Centroid control.

Re: Build Thread for Bridgeport Torq-Cut 30
Regarding the slipping screen.
I have the suspicion that the screws may be missing on the left side that are meant to hold it in place behind the bezel.
The screen is relatively easy to remove:
1. Remove the 8 screws from the front panel.
2. Remove the control panel, likely needing to unplug it from ...

Re: Acorn6 trying to access the Wizzard and it locks up the system?
I would suggest installing CNC12 v5.30 and going from there:

As well as solving the communication issues as ShawnM pointed out.

Re: Xyz axis and pins
Generally, for a mill X is axis 1, Y is axis 2, and Z is axis 3.
With an Acorn, using the Wizard, you can change the DB25 pin mapping to whatever you like however.

Re: Hickory not recording Stats correctly
As you're running CNC12 v5.10 I would recommend installing v5.30 to see if it's still an issue.
