Re: calibration not going well
Hi, thanks again for replying. Last night I updated C12 with a clean installation. I used the preset clear path setting and set the microsteps both on the stepper driver and within C12 to 4000. At the start C12 was showing steps per revolution at 5.08 which I know is wrong as it takes the motor ...

Re: calibration not going well
Thanks for your interest. I am using Nema 23 motors with CL57T closed loop stepper driver. The bullscrew is on a 2 to 1 sprocket system. So two turns of the motor = one turn of the bullscrew. It takes 12 turns of the motor to move 25mm or 1 inch.
I have set the driver to 12800 pulses.

Re: maybe a silly question
I am talking about table movements. And it states that jogging X+ makes the table move towards X-. All I am asking is, is the same for Y. Simple question, what’s the answer.

Re: maybe a silly question
Thanks. However if you look at the picture from the manual it looks to me that if you are cutting the movement of the bed is traveling in the negative direction and not the positive. so if you press X+ the table moves towards X-. I am asking if this is the same for the Y axis. screenshot ...

maybe a silly question
In the manual, it states that if you Jog X+ the table moves towards X-. However it does not explain the Y movement. The Z axis movement is the same for any milling machine. But what about that Y ? is it the same as the X axis, if I jog Y+ the bed moves towards Y- or is it like the Z axis, in which ...

homing switches
hi, looking at the wiring diagram for homing switches it looks like they need three wires . power in, com in, and a wire going to IN1. the problem i have is that i can only see switches with three wire terminals which are, Normally closed, com, and Normally open. so what limit switches can i use ...
