Wiring question

I have been trying to fiC86 board and Acorn. I have attached a drawing of how I think it should go but I am unsure.

Thanks Keith, unfortunately I cannot see anything that incorporates both a contactor and the C86 board.

Could I put the contactor on output 1 and the C86 on output 2 and define both as nofaultout?

What are you using the contactor for? If you are not using all the terminals you could wire the C86 through the contactor. We need more details.

You cannot assign two output the same. If you notice when you drag "nofaultout" to output 1 it's no longer in the list to assign to another output.

I am using the contactor for the IPC-5 Power Supplies.

Are you running them from 120 or or 240? Either way you'll need 2 poles on the contactor if you are running them from 240. Only one if they are powered by 120v. I assume you have a 3 pole contactor with an optional N/O contact on it as well? I cannot read your handwriting on some of the drawing you posted. You can use any unused terminals on the contactor for what ever you need it for, it's basically a giant switch that'll open or close when commanded by the "nofaultout" on the Acorn. Make sure you put a snubber on the contactor.

Do not power the C86 thru a relay as most schematics show. I power mine right off the Acorn4 24 & com terminals. It is totally unnecessary to need separate power from the board it is connected to

It is 120. Moeller DILM12-10 Ac Contactor 24v-dc 20a.

I put a drawing using the NO terminals, is that correct?

I don't use and will never use the C86 board for obvious reasons so I cannot tell you how to wire one. I can tell you that when you energize that contactor with 24v through A1 and A2 it will close the NO terminals, 13 and 14 and whatever you have wired through it will be connected.

I'm not real sure what you are trying to accomplish but maybe others who use that C86 board can help you more. Gary knows and uses them so maybe take his advice on wiring it up.
