KP3 cable and wiring

Post by Mathes »

Hello all,
today I receive my brand new KP3 and I cut the original cable to solder a small plug for the connecting box. I do the complete wiring and nothing works.
I this possible that the cable change the color of the wriing after the heat shrink tube?

Hope I destroy not my KP3.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Best regards

Mathias

Yes. The extensions are added to collect the shield and get the colors to Centroid standard.
The molded barrel jack cord colors may change.
tip = detect
ring = probe input
barrel/shield = GND

use ohm meter/continuity tester to figure out which wire is connected to which contact on the barrel jack.

Hello all,

everything is okay and it works nice.

One question, can you advice me the speed for the fast and slow feedrate for a KP3 for the feedrate?

Can I probe parts with the 4th axes?

Thanks a lot!

Hello,

I have done so e tests, and I have some issues with the KP-3.

During a digit process the controller stop after 6-8 proping moves and stop without any displayed errors.

After pressing any key of the keyboard the process start and stop again.

Any idea what's happened?

Thanks is advance

Mathias
