System variables related to M94/M95?

Post by mc2 »

I have done a bit of searching for information on this system variable. I would like to turn on a relay when either M3 or M4 is commanded. Then turn it back off with M5. I think I can just modify my macro programs for the M codes however I can't find the map for the system variables to know what bits to change. I essentially want to add a spindle enable to the control and reset it when spindle is stopped so that it will free spin so basically a spindle enable signal.

Jim.

After trying Spindle break again I was successful at getting it to work as the clearpath enable signal. I would still like to know where to find this information though if possible.

thanks, Jim.

Jim,

That information is in a combination of places. The CNC12 mill/lathe user's manuals have information on the system variables in the M94/M95 reference. More information on the SV_M94_M95_? system variables can be found in the CNC12 PLC programming manual.
Cheers,

Tom

I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.
