First time posting around here.

We're building a router machine that's use a Acorn board + leadshine driver (NEO-LS-ES-D1208) + huanyang inverter with a 2.2 kw water cooled spindle.

Hookup everything as the schematcics #S14941.DWG for the step motors.
After all conections, i've made a wire-by-wire checkup and was everything fine.
all the axis works perfect.

but the problem is with the Z axis. that moves only on the Z+ direction. So i cant put down when joging.

Any sugestions ? maybe a configuration on the wizard or wrong wiring, step motors drive configuration ?

Thanks.

You might want to check you input ports in particular port 5, make sure you don't have the touchoff input configured incorrectly. This is exactly how it behaves if it is configured wrong it will not let you go Z negative, to protect the probe.

I've seen this stepper issue before when it will only go one way!

There is a switch on the driver for bi-directional control. It comes set to go one way no mater what the direction is. I have no idea why they do this but I've seen it before on some models of steppers.

Check your manual for the dip switch settings.
