Hi All,
I have an odd problem on this new build. (This is a lathe conversion)
I performed bench test a few weeks back with Acorn and C86ACCP, everything worked great.
Fastforward a few weeks(Yesterday)I installed all components in an enclosure. fired up the software and got no com with Acorn.
Started disconnecting each connector on Acorn and found removing C86ACCP from H2/H3 would restore com. PLugged C86 back in several times and know have com but no Axis movement on STP1 STP3 works fine
Next was a visual inspection of pins and solder joints. I didn't see anything that is sticking out.
I'm loosing the 5VDC on the H2 connector when applying pressure downward on the board.(see Video)
Any suggestion on which could be causing this issue? The 5VDC comes from Acorn? Yes?
Both Acorn and C86ACCP are new.
I have another C86ACCP but it would be a pain to take it out for testing. thought I would throw this out first.
Is there any other test I can perform to pinpoint? hopefully it's something stupid;)
Thank you for your time
Karl

Re: Acorn or C86ACCP
It sure looks like the left side of the C86ACCP may not be seated all the way on the Acorn board. Any chance it's something as simple as that?

Re: Acorn or C86ACCP
I wish it was.. I just had it unplugged and plugged in so many times.
It ended being the C86ACCP board. I took the one out of my mill and tried it in the lathe, everything worked great.
So there sending me another one.
The guy (Arturo)at cnc4pc was super helpful!
Thanks for your response.
