Can someone have a look at the screen shots and tell me if this should read "profile end" for the end of the lathe profile.

Not really. It is the same page you would see if you edit operation #2, "Profile". It is part of the same operation, so showing the cycle details when you highlight the "Profile End" marker and choose Edit is just a convenience.

It should have read 100 m/min
And 0.05 F/M
Looks about right for aluminium.
I am sure that the one shot chamfer cuts the aluminium diagonally

Just testing out the profile

I would have thought it should read profile end.
