Hello and welcome to the forums.

If the computer is not powering up, the first thing I would check is the power supply in the PC. If that is not working then replace it with an equivalent ATX power supply.

There have been quite a few generations of M400 controls.

If yours was built between ca. 2003 and ca. 2015, so that it uses a micro-ATX motherboard and corresponding power supply, then the issue might just be that the motherboard battery is dead. See https://www.centroidcnc.com/dealersuppo ... ds/272.pdf

If yours was built between 1996 and ca. 2002, so that it uses a PC104 motherboard and either a MeanWell switching power supply or an AT-style power supply, then the issue could be the power supply, but is more likely to be a dead motherboard (bad news, with that generation of console).

If yours was built after ca. 2015, so that it has a NUC or BeeLink mini PC in the console, then it could again be the computer battery (although in that case you should have 12VDC - 19VDC coming from the power supply).

If you are not sure when your console was built, tell us the Centroid control serial number from the tag on the back or side of the console.
