Have set up and ready to move each axis to a home/Limit position. But will not move. When I look at the servo drive it flashes (Pot/Not).
Next I turned off the Pos over travel and Neg over travel. Now when I try to move, it will move in the Positive direction very slowly. When this happens nothing will stop it, move + or - or limit switch. only E-Stop. Anyone have an idea?

It is hard to say without knowing anything at all about your wiring; your control; or your configuration.
Maybe if you posted a report and described how you have wired the drives to the Centroid control unit (guessing an Oak?), then you would get some meaningful responses.
Maybe you have the drives configured to run in analog velocity mode, but your Centroid Kp, Ki and Kd gains are all zero?

I am working with a Hurco VM1 that has Yaskawa Servo drives and Motors, And an Oak controller. using the cables that were suppled by Centroid labeled, ( Oak to Yaskawa ) Note; the servo drives and motors were the same the were on the Hurco when control died, so they were tuned together.
I am sorry for not having the information from the start.

I am working on a system with an Centroid Oak, talking with a Yaskawa Sigma II, all the information that I find from Centroid is for Ysakawa Sigma 5. can anyone tell me how to set the Sigma II to work in this setup?

It looks like we have two documents on setting up velocity mode or position mode with Sigma II drives.
Do you know if the drives are currently set up for position or velocity mode?
Regardless, see technical bulletins #108 and #295 for some parameter settings. I would confirm what the settings on the drives are before making any changes. Even better is to use SigmaWin to make a backup of the drive parameter settings.

Can't get SigmaWin Ver7 to see our Sigma II , and cant find any reference to connecting With SigmaWin. Anyone know how to make this work?
