Lathe Parameter Settings for TT4

Post by Tcwms »

Good morning:

I have Centroid Acorn v 5.06 running a Sherline Lathe. I have a TT4 and have read everything I can on setting Parameters 3, 18, 244 & 257 for this, but am confused. I've reviewed the newest Lathe Manual (v5.30+) and still not sure. TT4 manual says settings for parameter 44 (believe it should be "244") is 50769 and for parameter 257 is 50772, but I think these are only for OAK/ALLIN1 software. Not sure about Parameters 3 & 18.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me what are the Parameter settings for 3, 18, 244 & 257 and any other settings I need to set to use the TT4 XY tool offset probing cycle.

I appreciate your help.

Tom

Hi Tom,
Using an Acorn, the Acorn Wizard will handle all of the parameters for you.
On Page 10 of the TT-4 user manual is where the setup procedure for Acorn starts.
