hi there i have a tamagawa fa coder ts5212n335 encoder that i am wanting to check the wiring on to fit to my centroid acorn setup DB9 connector.
does anyone have the correct colour chart please?
my encoder has
red
black
green
green with black trace
yellow
yellow with black trace
blue
blue with black trace
brown
brown with black trace
white
white with black trace
grey
grey with black trace
the DB9 pins are shown as the following in the manual

I found a current catalog that gives data on encoders with very similar part numbers on the Tamagawa website here: https://www.tamagawa-seiki.com/downloads/pdf/
In the incremental encoders catalog on page 16, it shows this table for the TS52xxN3xx series: From this chart, I would suggest wiring as follows:
Pin Wire color
1 None
2 Black
3 Yellow / Black stripe
4 Blue / Black stripe
5 Green / Black stripe
6 Yellow
7 Blue
8 Green
9 Red

If you have an oscilloscope or an logic analyzer you can measure the signals to verify.
