Strange. I have tried to install this version several times. Each time I get an error saying:

Couldn't complete backup, probable cause; file open, folder open, app running. Solution: close all files; apps located in cncm and run installer again.

I restarted the machine and nothing else is running. Any ideas?

The quickest workaround for this would be to manually rename the cncm folder, then try to install.

That worked... except I got an error saying the report is not compatible with the beta version. I did update the wizard and all seems to be woking well. Thanks for your help!

That message is more of a warning than an error and is usually okay to ignore if you're going from versions close in proximity. The betas do only last for a limited time, but more beta revisions and hopefully full releases will become available before the newest beta expires.

don't use restore report with beta software otherwise you run the risk of carrying along issues from the version that the report is from to the new software.

always do a fresh install and hand enter and hand copy only the files you need from the old to the new. (CTRL P in the wizard will create a PDF for you)

restore report only works within the SAME version. example v5.06 to v5.06

Thanks Keith. Two quick questions:
1. When you hand enter the information into the wizard, do you have to hit Write To PLC for each page, or can you enter all the pages, then Write To PLC once?

2. I noticed that the tool library was blank after installing the beta version. I can't remember if this happened on my previous install. Is there a way to restore the tool library from the previous version?
