The speed control on my BLDC motor (Consew clone?) is nominally 0-5V. But for proper operation ( Without Faulting the drive) it's actually 1.4V to 4.2V.
Is there a way to set the output to be contained into that range? 100RPM to 5000RPM? or actually 200-10,000 RPM
I see there is a switch in the Wizard to limit to 0-5V but how to I map the upper and lower limit.
Thanks
Dave

Re: Acorn and H8 programming
Setting the Max and Min spindle speed is explained in the Acorn install manual on Page 85..
https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_di ... manual.pdf
You would select limiting to 5V out and set min at 100rpm and max at 5000rpm

Re: Acorn and H8 programming
the stock Centroid provided PLC program provides linear voltage output over the range (0-5, or 0-10) for the min and max RPM values provided by the integrator.
for odd voltage ranges you can edit the PLC program, which is open source and human readable.

more information on the power of the Centroid PLC program and how to edit it can be found in the PLC programming manual and the PLC programming video series on centroid tech support you tube channel.

Re: Acorn and H8 programming
Thank you Keith,
I think i found the manual which does not seem to be listed in the all Acorn documentation links.
I will try to find the videos you suggested.
