look at the error log in the util menu

did you run the com stress test? its a g code program, load it and run it.

the errors you have are most likely firewall or cable related, follow the details in the link i posted.

Hi Cnckeith

I have watched the video again and double check that all the settings on Win 10 are correct

I could not found any setting that were wrong

I still have to do the stress test

I have done a few continuity test between the Controller PSU VFD and Milling Machine

The only thing I found was between the VFD Supply Ground and any other metal point of Milling Machine or PSU casing there are a 0.9V

Not sure if that will be a problem

Things that will cause com errors

1.) using a RJ45 a bulk head connector

2.) Using a regular non-shielded Ethernet cable or the shielded cable is bad, try another shielded cable as a test.

3.) Using a USB Ethernet adapter.

4.) Ethernet adapter drivers on CNC PC haven't been updated (use manufacture drivers! whenever possible)

5.) ANY type of anti virus software installed, you can't just simply turn it off you have to uninstall it

6.) Windows fire wall blocking cncm.exe, cncr.exe, or cnct.exe

7.) Windows or Laptop bios power saving feature turning off the Ethernet adapter, Windows resetting the ip address automatically. Un select “Obtain an IP address automatically” in Windows ethernet adapter settings and select “ Use the following IP address”

1.) using a RJ45 a bulk head connector (Using only the supplied BLUE Shielded Network Cable)

2.) Using a regular non-shielded Ethernet cable or the shielded cable is bad, try another shielded cable as a test. ( I will get another cable and swop it out to test)

3.) Using a USB Ethernet adapter. (Cable going from Controller to onboard Network Port)

4.) Ethernet adapter drivers on CNC PC haven't been updated (use manufacture drivers! whenever possible) (When I re-Installed Windows on New HDD in December I have updated all the drivers)

5.) ANY type of anti virus software installed, you can't just simply turn it off you have to uninstall it (With new Installation in December I have not installed any Anti-Virus)

6.) Windows fire wall blocking cncm.exe, cncr.exe, or cnct.exe (As per the Youtube video all the Firewalls are off)

7.) Windows or Laptop bios power saving feature turning off the Ethernet adapter, Windows resetting the ip address automatically. Un select “Obtain an IP address automatically” in Windows ethernet adapter settings and select “ Use the following IP address” (I had a look now in the BIOS but there are nothing under the Power to control the Network Card, The IP address are fixed and not set for automatically)

Please see my notes after all the points
Thanks
