manual, oh manual, where art thou?

OK... I must be stupid...or blind.
I have tried to find the programming and operator documentation for CNC11 both on the forum and on the Centroid sales websites. Would assume there would be a sticky at the top of the “Centroid Oak, Allin1DC, MPU11 and Legacy products” forum, or somewhere under the "CNC Resources" tab in the Centroid home page, but alas, nothing. :(
I must not have found the magical search term either because the search bar is of no use. The closest I have come is stumbling upon a link to the "Centroid Mill Operator Manual" under the Documentation & Support tab for the Allin1DC CNC Controller order page...which links to a PDF for CNC12 operator's manual. That PDF fails to load after 2 attempts.
I hope that documentation and support for CNC11 is not going the way of the Dodo. If it is, please come clean and say so because although I'd rather not be forced to pony up the 300 bucks to upgrade to CNC12, I'd do it under duress in order to maintain my investment in this Centroid system.

Specifically, I am looking for a list of supported G and M codes at the moment. I am trying to speed up the homing process of the 4th axis indexer I just got working and was told to try using M105 and M106 in my homing file...but I am unfamiliar with those M codes. Additionally, the post I have been using with good success on my Centroid control is the same one I use at work on the Haas, which supports "Inverse Time" feed mode for simultaneous 4 axis rotary moves, and I am wondering if Centroid also supports this mode. (I am hoping I don't need to pay my CAD/CAM reseller for post modifications)
Pointing me to where I can download the programming/operator manual for CNC11 would be greatly appreciated...even more so if someone wanted to drop a quick example of the M105/M106 codes used in a homing file with regard to speeding up the indexer homing cycle.

all g and m codes are in the operator manuals there are links on multiple pages to them here is one. legacy manuals (cnc11) are also on this page.

https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_di ... nuals.html

also on the Allin1dc purchase point page under "documentation" tab.
https://shopcentroidcnc.com/allin1dc-cnc-controller/

downloaded fine for me. :D
mill https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_di ... manual.pdf
lathe https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_di ... manual.pdf

suggest you install CNC12! :D there have been thousand of changes and added features. $300 is small price to pay and it would help us keep the lights on so we can afford to answer your questions.

also in CNC11 install folder (cncm or cnct) there might be a copy of the operator manual for that version. i can't remember what version but at some point we started including it with the installer. so just search for *.pdf in cncm or cnct if you want an old manual.

Thanks Keith!
Once I found the G & M code list and description pages, I understoood how to modify the homing file so the A axis homes quickly and reliably. And I also found my answer regarding Inverse Time mode (G93). I would note that I could not successfully download the CNC11 version 3.xx manual, but I was able to download the 4.xx manual... not sure what was going on there, but the info I needed was the same for both versions so no harm, no foul.

I agree, $300 is a good value. I made up my mind to upgrade to CNC12, but it's a matter of priority; I'm struggling to acquire some necessary tooling yet and I'm sure you understand the challenges of cash flow. I'm on the cusp of retiring and everything I am doing with Centroid is to outfit my home shop so I have somewhere to play when I don't have access to the machines at work. Yesterday, it was a choice between CNC12 and a $300.00 3-jaw back plate to mount the chuck to the indexer I'm proving out. You know which one won out. :) The mill, and a Hwacheon CNC lathe I bought last year need to be fully functional before I leave the safety net of my employer.

I want to reiterate my thanks to Centroid, you and several others who are active on this forum who help those like me sort these retrofits out. Most of the process is as fun as machining, but you guys are lifesavers for the periods that aren't. I would humbly suggest 2 things: 1) make a sticky post in this forum with links to the documentation (it seems like a logical first place to look) and 2) add specific language and examples for setting motor parameters and dealing with home switches with regard to setting up a rotary axis in the installation documentation. Like I said, it was easy to follow for linear axes, but without the help from CNCSNW I would never have figured out how to do the math to determine the motor rev/in value for my indexer, or configuring the home switch parameters since it is significantly different from a linear axis.

Dean,
yeah, thanks for the suggestions. we've done that over on the Acorn forum. for instance here is the all documentation link.
https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=3397

knowledge base with common setup subjects
https://centroidcncforum.com/viewforum.php?f=63

setup videos
https://centroidcncforum.com/viewforum.php?f=61

many of these subjects covered in these post apply to all platforms like figuring out rotary overall turns ratios, while others are Acorn specific.

the advanced search is your friend on this forum. hoping to build an AI CNC tech support agent and install on this forum in the future!

You forgot I'm apparently a blind idiot. ;)
Humble pie tastes terrible. My apologies!

Still, do my suggestions regarding rotary axis setup in the documentation have any merit?

thanks for the suggestions. and yes we should make/improve the Rotary setup TB to be more general purpose.
