I still find the many unnecessary buttons to be unnecessary...When I have time I will delete them
But a new mystery has arisen...

I built a Y axis for the lathe...nothing special
G2 G3 in X and Y work....
OK easy
How do G2 and G3 work in Y and Z?
How can I activate G17 G18 G19?
If I create a circle with for example

G0 Y0 Z0
G1 f900
G2 Y10 Z10 R5

My Y axis and my Z axis should move half a circle
Why does my X axis move with this code?

Here are more pictures of the whole thing
That you've seen it

This is not supported right now in lathe software, I also hope it is coming soon.

At the moment I work around with short vectors in fusion...

Well then I see 0.0000 % improvement to 4.5 or 4.8
I could have saved myself the renovation
If I buy a 2nd license: Can development be accelerated?
Or can you change the axes with an M command so that Z becomes X and then back again......

Stephan,

hello.

what is on your wish list besides these two items below?

1.) a very basic VCP as a canned centroid provided option. This is so easy to do i'm not sure why this is a big deal to you? please explain, and what do you want on this basic VCP? name the buttons please! or provide me with a VCP and i'll include it in the build. (history: when we first had the VCP we created a basic one and immediately everyone asked why is this or that missing? :-))

2.) Arcs in the Y Z plane for Lathe. (you and Uwe are the first to ask for this is the DIY CNC market. it is on the to do list and has been for some time.

We have been very busy with literally hundreds of improvements as you can see by the CNC12 v3.16 to v5.10 release notes attached.

and CNC12 v5.2 is about to be released with major additions, Wizard Support for USB-BOB, Hickory Router CNC12, CNC12 Plasma for Hickory and AcornSix, Hickory Wizard, Clearpath with Hickory and much more.

and we are about to begin working on v5.3 and we are finalizing the feature request priorities for v5.3 right now, i'll try to get Y Z arcs for Lathe in there for you!

Thanks for your statmant

What would be good would be G83 G84 in the XYZ direction.
I'm currently working with G75 in X

G2 G3 in all directions would be good.
It also says in their advertising that it can do that.

I'm currently looking for how to see this 3D view.
Just like you show in your video and in your PDF.
How can I activate this too?
When I mill I always don't see anything the machine is doing.

Why was the feed control changed?
Now when my machine starts, it starts with G0 and it also run with G0 and only G1 can be controlled with the handwheel.
In the old version you could also control G0. 0% to 300% with the handwheel
When I approached the workpiece, I set it slowly. If I noticed that I was too slow, I could set it up to 300%
That was a good thing.

Last week I was milling with the new version for the first time and it crashed because I had the zero point wrong and the handwheel didn't respond to G0.
In a panic I turned minus and until the time came and I was at the emergency stop Booommmmm
1400€ 1500Dollar Röhm precision 3 jaw chuck vs carbide Endmill

that's why I was in such a bad mood.
Please excuse me

I don't change anything in the VCP because I can't.
For me, English is a difficult language.
It's easy for you, it's not easy for me.
I often miss entire parts of the instructions because I don't have the words.
If things are completely changed then I get very nervous.

The Coler picker was an unnecessary toy for me.
This USB board is exactly the same.

As already said for me Centroid is hobby but more importantly it is a tool for me.
a very professional tool not a hobby
