probing each cut for z zero is there a mode were i could just probe someny inches per cut .
Reason large cut lots small cuts close probing every one take longer to cut
most controllers have a distance setting till next probe setting from 0 to what ever you want 0 probe every time
say 4 inch cut line probe every 4 inch till next cut . that way settings from IHS z0 be used . till next probe
This is not necessary 100 percent. But someone production cutting will most likely use it to probe say every other small part

Re: probing each cut
Yes, for detailed art, we really need this, otherwise Z is going to slow down production. So just a field in Thc settings screen, probe after xx inches. It will do initial probe, then if cut length is less than xx inches, torch will raise to safe, and lower to .06 (or what ever cut height set too), then after second cut if total cut length since last probe < than xx, raise to safe, move, lower to .06, repeat until total length cut since last probe == or > than xx.

Re: probing each cut
Hey there, is there any news on this matter?
Also I would like to know if I want that the torch touch off cycle will not actual be probing or looking for the the float switch to be triggered, I what that it will be a fixed height that I'll choose be doing a z home position of the work piece.
Thanks

Re: probing each cut
No news yet. We haven't forgotten about Lazer/Oxy/ other pierce cycles.
Wish I could give a timeline but we are closer than ever to having something to test.
