That's the same report you posted earlier dated 7/30/2023. You'll need to use the machine to see if it generates any error message or PC resends.

One, the date on your PC is wrong as it's dated 7-30-2023 and its 8-14-2023. The most recent report you posted has the same errors, tons of them. You are still running 4.82 and you should update to the latest version. You still have tons of noise, look at your error log and you'll see what I mean.

What are the benefits of upgrading to 5,6 A while back I tried the upgrade to 5 and my Z stopped working then they came out with a newer version that was supposed to fix that. I think for now I will keep 4,82 I just ran a job that was 1.5 hrs worth of cutting and everything went smooth. Like Gary said before why upgrade if it works

It's your machine and you can do with it as you wish. You still have a horrible noise issue and it will rear its ugly head again. Good luck with everything.

Yes I did. "If it works" is the critical part of that. Isn't the title of this thread "4th axis not working"?

Another part of it is that if you wish to request free tech support from this forum, that you be running the latest version of the software.

I will try running the last version but I will have to clone my hard dive first.

You can do a fresh install of the latest software and the install will preserve your old version for you automatically. No need to clone your HD.

Unifying of software across multiple platforms, lots of feature additions for router and plasma, a few for mill and a few bug fixes
