4th axis not working

I was running a job and noticed that one of my steppers wasn't working. I checked and the 4th axis output is not working the driver is good as I moved it to a different output and the stepper is good I don't know how to check to see if the board is outputting the needed signal. I am using a DB 25 breakout board. Do you think that running the debricker would help

Do you have the 4th axis configured, enabled/set as rotary in the Wizard? Can you manually jog it, or use the MDI?

I can move all the other steppers abut the one connected to axis 4. The machine was running great and after I shut down for the night and then restarted in the morning I noticed the one side of my x was not working. I have all the steppers off the machine now and all work but the X2 or 4th axis. I am getting power to the stepper as I can feel it engage I even tried a different Gecko drive with no luck. Is there a way to see if the board is sending a signal to the drive.

So is the axis paired and do you have the license file installed? That's why they will ask for the report you did not upload. I think it's to early to take drastic measures. I would switch X1 and X2 step and direction at the acorn for a test. If you try leadshine drives you will be surprised how much smoother the machine runs.

I went over all the wiring but that didn't help then I unplugged the breakout board and plugged it back in and the axis started working so now I have everything back together.

You might want to get a new breakout board and mount it very securely. Those small pins are easy to mess up. At the end of my db25 I have a mounting hole and Iput a mounting stud under it as well, just like the acorn.

Ok I can get it to work some times but it will drop the 4th Axis after a few minutes here is the last report I did today

You have the worst noise issue I've seen since I started looking at reports. Your log is nothing but PC resends. See Tech Bulletin #270. I'm surprised any axis works on your machine.

After I re arranged my power supply and rerouted the ethernet cable to the other side all the steppers seem to be working I had to change the location of my power supply when I went with the 65 volt unit as it was bigger then the 44 volt unit. that put it close to the ethernet cable so I turned the supply so it is more shielded now. this is the report after I did all that
