ok.. i cut one and its a little tight around the encoder port, some large db9 connectors won't fit but the Centroid ones do. so, making change to the cut out for db9 connector to have .112" clearance on either side.

The only problem with this, is that now it will be even more obvious my Acorn is mounted 'upside down'...

Maybe you could lobby for four separate acrylic cover options: one in each orientation....
