LED lighting
I am in the process of wiring acorn for a Syil X5 mill. I would like to add decent cabinet lighting to the machine. I was wondering if I could utilise the existing RD35B 24v supply that is connected to the acorn board. The LEDs will be drawing about 0.5A. Would this cause and issue with the acorn operation?

Re: LED lighting
The load on the supply would be near rated maximum. A separate LED supply would be better to keep some extra headroom.

Re: LED lighting
Yes, better use an own power supply. Use the one for Acorn only for Acorn and proximity sensors.
