Hi,
My spindle is connected to the allin1dc for run, direction and speed. I use the dac output into my VFD.
Works nicely except that if I switch from auto into manual the signal drops to zero volts first.
I smashed one bit so now I programmed the VFD to take 5 seconds to decelerate so I can quickly up the manual speed before I break the bit.
I think to be safe, could switching from auto into manual spindle control start with the current auto voltage?

Re: DAC out switching from auto to manual
Why are you switching out of auto when a program is running? You can increase or decrease the spindle speed with the + and - overides while in auto.
Cheers,
Tom
