FeedHold Keeps Coming ON

Post by tuffduck »

Today I powered up my machine, homed it and decided to change a couple settings on the VFD. Tried to use the MDI to check the speeds and a Red Feedhold message popped up and the spindle will not spin up. It just clears the MDI box, the feedhold button becomes lit and will not disengage.

You didn't take a picture of the full CNC12 screen Windows 10 SNIPping tool works great
On VCP, Spindle Control, is it in AUTO or MAN? (Virtual LED is lit when in AUTO)

Marty

I see the feedhold button shows a feedhold set. (Its "LED" is on)

Have you shut down Acorn and restarted everything?
Even with a FEEDHOLD on, it does not prevent me from using the spindle in manual or MDI. I just double checked.
Are you watching your FWD Output relays to see if they are coming on?
You can do this via the Diagnostic screen as well while in MDI (Alt i)

On the Diagnostic screen everything is on. So I rest the VFD to factory and entered in the settings again. It is working to what I had. All the settings I have are correct according Huan Yang support.
Thanks again, Marty.
