See a video of my Acorn driven PM-30MV CNC conversion running here:
Are those vertical/lines/reflections (on the sidewall section of the part where the radius is) in the part due to limitations in my stepper motors? or Acorn control board? Or gcode? Doesn't look like the cutter is sweeping a perfect arc here - more like approximating an arc with little lines/steps.... but the lines/steps are not THAT little. Pretty noticeable when reflecting light. The steps are uniform across multiple cut depths.
Any and all feedback appreciated. Thanks guys!

Looks as if you are using a roughing toolpath to create the outside profile - but not a finishing toolpath afterwards. Those flat features seem to be repeated at different stepdowns, so seems to be what the CAM intended.
What are you using to create the g code? And what toolpaths have you used? In Fusion 360 you'd want to finish with a 2D Contour.
