I remember from 4.10 to 4.12, you needed to copy some directories from old cncm to new one - for tool lib (I don't have) and custom macros (I do have). Same procedure for this upgrade?

Thanks,
Wally

For users setting up a Metric System, this is my recommendation:

As the release notes state, the Wizard no longer converts values between Metric and Imperial settings. When you launch the Wizard for the first time, all the default values in the Wizard will be dependent on how CNC12 is configured and the default value is Imperial. That means when you launch the Wizard right after you installed CNC12, all the default values are Imperial values and they stay this way even when you switch from Imperial to Metric in the Wizard. So if you are not changing every single value in the Wizard and just accept some default values, be aware that these values might not make sense for a Metric system.

Therefore if you are configuring a Metric System, I highly suggest that you make the conversion to a Metric system in CNC12 first before you launch the Wizard for the first time. This can be done in CNC12 by going to Setup[F1]>Config[F3](Password is 137)->Contrl[F1], change Machine Units to Millimeters and Save[F10]. When you launch the Wizard now, all the default values will be suitable for Metric systems.

Can I put 4.12 cncm.wcs into 4.14's directory?

Also, trying to sort out why I can jog in slow (10ipm) only.

Yes,

And sounds like you're in probe protection mode or maybe you haven't home the machine out yet you'll have to post a report for me to tell

Reinstall any license files through the utility menu after installing v4.14 just like you did with 4.12

While this suggestion will work, I don't recommend this method for beginners or newbies, I recommend setting millimeters in the wizard and using millimeter values in the wizard.
