Error on boot up <resolved>
I have an Atrump knee mill with a M15 control that has run without issue for about nine years. CNC7 In Janurary the machine would not boot up. It will go thru the start up cyle to the home machine screen and gives a "Math error Overflow while processing line 1 Return code 64" . While i was trying to trouble shoot i noticed that clock read that the date was May something 2094? Checked the 3.6 volt battery and it was good. Im realy at a loss.

Re: Error on boot up
The math error is almost certainly related to the incorrect date. The problem is non-Y2K-compliant PC BIOS.
Go to a DOS prompt (Ctrl-Alt-X from within CNC7, or Ctrl-C to break out of the batch file that launched CNC7).
Delete the file CNC7.TEM.
Reboot (Ctrl-Alt-Del).
While you have the opportunity, press DEL; go to the Standard CMOS Setup screen; and set the correct date and time. Save changes and exit.
It should run fine. Optionally, go to http://www.cncsnw.com/download.htm and download and install the CHKDATE utility, which will patch the date if needed every time the PC starts up.

Re: Error on boot up
Thank you so much!!!! Did what you said and machine booted right up. I will try to install chkdate this evening, I have no internet in my shop so it’s a little aggravating. Thanks again.
