Will this beta phase then lead directly to release of 5.40 if there are no biggies? I'm looking forward to that although I don't have the bandwidth to get involved in any beta testing myself right now. Sounds like a big leap forward!

So approximately how long do we expect to get to 5.40? I'm just thinking I have 3 machines to update and don't want to do all the work at 5.39 and the next day have to do all 3 again or similar...

great on shipping machines, what are you building?
i can give you historical data guidance, typically the public beta period test period goes on for about two weeks.
If you need to ship, then i would ship with v5.30 and customer can then determine if they want you to remote in and install the new version in the future.

Sorry, bad grammar. They are my machines and was curious on times to 5.40 but you answered my question, so will just wait until 5.40, save updating again in a few weeks.

midy and muzzer we need help with beta testing please consider installing v.539 on at least one machine,
Note: it is super fast/easy to switch back to v5.30 just by renaming the cnc12 directories if using mill, if not using mill you don't even have to do that anymore as each flavor of CNC12 has its own directory now.
