Old Atlas 12x36 Acorn conversion

Hello!
I have recently completed my Acorn conversion of an old Atlas 12x36 lathe. I bought it in pretty rough shape a few years back. The QC gearbox was missing and it had rust on almost every surface. I cleaned it up and added wanted to do a CNC conversion. This video was my inspiration.

Re: Help with com errors <Resolved>

I installed a new shielded cable. This time only 3' long. It seemed to work fine, as it passed the stress test repeatedly. I went back to it a few hours later and it was failing the stress test. Nothing had changed.

Re: Trouble with Logitech K400 keyboard

Thanks Jacob. I have tried all your suggestions and none of them worked, but thank you.
Thanks Scott. I have the K400 not the plus or r variant. I'll try that setpoint software and see if it will work.

I’ve downloaded and installed the Options and Options+ applications and they don’t work for me. The keyboard and mouse is connected and functions fine. But in the software it sees ...

Can I get some help with a One Shot OD Turning

I messed something up and overwrote a file somehow.
When I try to use the One Shot turning button on the VCP, it works, but it adds a second operation for cutting a thread.

I was working in Intercon the other night on this thread and I seem to have overwritten my one shot turning button.
How can ...

No one likes change or spending money they didn’t plan on. But it’s still a tremendous value.

Re: Help with com errors <Resolved>

Well I’m seeing com errors again. I replaced the cable with another shielded Ethernet cable and it seemed to work fine.
I have discovered that when I get a com error, I can open the cabinet and wiggle the cable a little and the com errors go away. It’s like the Ethernet receptacle on the Acorn ...

Re: Centroid CNC Software Licensing Upgrade Announcement

So, if you don’t purchase the current upgrade because you’re happy with the version you have, but the next one looks attractive, will you pay 2x the $79?
