Re: New build!

not sure if anyone is following.... but anyways...

I got the acorn six board. its HUGE. wont fit where old one was, so, adding a 16x20 cabinet on top. hope it does not look home made.

Spent a few hours in Mach4 trying to figure out the mapping of all the old wiring so I can label the wires before ...

Re: Restart using a time delay relay

maybe overly complicated... but I am writing a new control UI for centriod and wanted to be able to cycle the board automatically when we make adjustments to the PLC in the UI. so, the restart would be controlled by the program.

Restart using a time delay relay

I am interested in integrating a restart functionality for the board so I do not need to cycle the machine when configuration changes.

I thought I could do this easily by using a normally closed time delay relay. I then can trigger the output, it will cycle the relay (open it) and then close it ...

Re: API Questions

two other things that I do not see.

seems options to run commands are MDI and file. Is there a way to run a chunk of GCode? I am going to be taking in the gcode, parsing to break up to handle things like pause/dwell, tool changes and custom M codes. Would be nice to send in a string[] of GCode to ...

API Questions

I am making a very modern interface for CNC routing for hobby type users. this is going to be a full replacement for the CNC12 UI but will use all the CNC12 plc and gcode handling.

I am sure I will have many posts here, but here are some initial questions:

I need to be notified about events and ...

Re: New build!

the machine is currently using warp9. I am changing not because not happy with machine, but working on new custom control software based on the Centriod API that will provide a much cleaner and more modern interface for controlling my CNC. Not sure I will release my software, but just frustrated ...
