ESTUN Pronet e-04a Servo Drive

Has anyone used ESTUN Pronet e-04a servo drives. If so did you have any issues?

M297 and M298 (503 Invalid M function)

When trying to use M297 I get a 503 Invalid M function. I need to disable the soft limits.

Re: Delta ASDA-A2 Cable Pinout Mismatch – SKU 13131 (For Sale if Interested)

It’s not that the cables wouldn’t work with a Centroid controller—I understand that they’re configured to use the high-speed differential inputs on the ASDA-A2 drives, as outlined in TB264.

The issue was entirely my misunderstanding. I had assumed that all the pins shown in Delta’s documentation ...

Delta ASDA-A2 Cable Pinout Mismatch – SKU 13131 (For Sale if Interested)

A few months ago, I bought the "Oak Board to Servo Drive Cable - Delta ASD-A/ASD-AB" (SKU 13131) from Centroid. I'm just now getting around to using them and noticed something I hadn’t expected.

I had assumed the cable's wiring to the 50-pin connector would match the Delta documentation for the ...

Re: Software limits

Thank you for the clarification and that is a good suggestion.

My apologies if I sounded ungrateful.

Re: Software limits

Something you could look into using for tool changes is M297/M298.
M297 disables software travel limits and M298 enables software travel limits.
These are on page 298 of the mill operator manual:

Documentation system variables <Answered>

I am looking for a comprehensive document or reference that lists all of the system variables and parameters that can be used in macros. While I have found bits and pieces of this information in various documents, I’m hoping to find a single, complete source that includes all available variables ...

Re: Software limits

Thank you for the explanation — that makes sense and helps clarify the current intent of software limits in Acorn.

I’d like to suggest this as a potential feature for a future update or add-on. Without accounting for tool length offsets, the lower Z limit becomes less meaningful for many users. In ...

Re: Software limits

I do understand that I could shift the X and Y more into positive to allow for the negative travel limit. More curious why this would be restricted in this way

The way you are handling the tool bar limits I suppose one could also adjust the Z limit in the tool change macro based on the tool height ...
