Re: Build Thread for Bridgeport Torq-Cut 30
Please check inside the battery box and confirm that the battery:
1. Is present. If the battery is not there, then it was missing from the shipment or possibly loose in the packaging materials. Check the packaging and then contact Centroid support directly via phone or email if not found.
2. Has ...

Re: Build Thread for Bridgeport Torq-Cut 30
Hello all,
Is there a way to run the Wizard without being connected to the Hickory board? (on another computer) I tried running the .exe out of the cncm folder but it does't work, it wants cnc12 running. The reason I ask is because I'm starting to learn Centroid PCL programming and if I could make ...

Re: Build Thread for Bridgeport Torq-Cut 30
You'll need to scroll down, the entire wizard screen is not being displayed.
Use the scroll bar on the far right so you can see the outputs at the bottom of the list:

Yup, that was it. What a big dummy I am. I was just using the center scroll bar to scroll down. Too many ...

Re: Build Thread for Bridgeport Torq-Cut 30
That is interesting. I even tried installing a fresh copy of v5.30 right off the Centroid website yesterday. I thought maybe I didn't have the license installed but that was not the case. Attached is the report and two screen shots showing all the available output options.

Re: Build Thread for Bridgeport Torq-Cut 30
I started getting into the PLC and the Hickory Wizard tonight. I'm running v5.30 and I figured I'd start off simple and add the Z axis brake release to the PLC via the Wizard. When I went to add ZBrakeRelease to Output09 (per s15219r2), it wasn't an option. the only options were A, B, C, U, V, and ...

Re: Build Thread for Bridgeport Torq-Cut 30
Thanks cncnw for the helpful info. I need to digest it and decide how I plan on tackling the tool changer. I'm finishing up the spindle to Hickory wiring now which will leave the tool changer my last challenge. I haven't dug into the PLC programing too much yet but plan to soon.

Re: Build Thread for Bridgeport Torq-Cut 30
I got a lot accomplished in the last week. The replacement Leadshine encoder cable did the trick. It did have a battery, and the voltage was good so it looks like it was just a bad cable. With the cable replaced and the drives tuned, I moved on to installing the Delta C2000+. VFD. I was a little ...

Re: Build Thread for Bridgeport Torq-Cut 30
I made a lot of progress this weekend but ran into an issue. I got all the servo motors installed and wired but ran into a bit of a problem. One of the Leadshine EL7 encoder cables seems to be bad. I thought I started seeing this when I did the bench test but ignored it for the time being. The ...

Re: Build Thread for Bridgeport Torq-Cut 30
Thank you Centroid for the quick turnaround for the fix/replacement of the screen. It was kind of weird right? Now back to wiring for me.
Is there an update on the testing of a Delta C2000+ VFD with Hickory EtherCAT? I'm getting close to the point where I will start wiring the VFD. It sure would be ...

Re: Build Thread for Bridgeport Torq-Cut 30
Regarding the slipping screen.
I have the suspicion that the screws may be missing on the left side that are meant to hold it in place behind the bezel.
The screen is relatively easy to remove:
1. Remove the 8 screws from the front panel.
2. Remove the control panel, likely needing to unplug it ...
