Centroid had a customer call in to ask about a stepper motor which would randomly move in a direction opposite the direction commanded.
They are running cnc12 Lathe v4.14
I believe this would most likely be caused by faulty wiring, most likely on the direction wire to the stepper drive.

Rotary Table In/Rev Encoder Settings
We had a customer call in about his RT100 rotary table. They are running CNC10 V1.51 When commanding the rotary table to rotate 360* it will only rotate 270* For rotary tables the In/Rev value should reflect a value = to, degrees/rev. to calculate, you would divide the ratio of the table by 360. the...

Re: M400 controller has lost it's display:
Some systems have a pigtail with a VGA port. You can easily connect a monitor to that. If you do need to order a new descrambler board from centroid have the 6 digit code on the board ready.

Re: Machine parameter for Linear encoder input
scales are measured in mm per pulse, acorn needs pulses per inch/mm. The formula for inches is 25.4/Resolution in mm. in the case of the akm1 it would be 25.4/.001=25400. A formula for Metric would be 1/Resolution in mm. in the case of the akm1 1/.001 = 1000. Using an incorrect number will work on t...

Re: MPU11 Problem
Please Verify your fiber connections are correct. (https://www.centroidcnc.com/downloads/c ... manual.pdf)
Also please open your I/O screen using Alt+I from the home screen and try flipping a few switches and look for a state change.
