I've searched but haven't found any other similar questions asked. I've figured out how to set my height offsets for end mills but what about shaped tools such as a ball nose end mill or a chamfer cutter?

Your probe inputs are not setup correctly. If it reads “probe tripped” as soon as you plug it in then the probe input (nc or no) is opposite of what it should be.

I must be misunderstanding how the probe protection works with the KP-3. When I plug it in and go to the boring cycle it says probe detected and shows the trip status. So it does know when it's plugged in. On my MPG however it acts weird. With the probe plugged in I can move any axis using the MPG ...
