Any update being able to edit an Xml file for the VCP, I'm colorblind and finding it really difficult to distinguish the button indicator lights on the VCP. ?

Hi, All

Thought i'd share this low cost tip i found for splash proofing cables, while searching for cable conduit today.
I realised a Standard 3/4" garden hose tap fitting works.

Just remove the inner brass from the Hose Fitting, Remove the DMM white plastic insert and rubber grommet.

Hi, All

Thanks for answering the question, so the prefered method is:

1.) Put any custom files in a folder, then after you use the wizard to make changes in other areas you can copy them back
or
2.) Use the wizard to do as much configuring as you can, edit up the custom home file, then use CNC12 ...

Hi All

Is it possible to save my own Custom Wizard settings?

When i choose the DMM DYN2DYN4 in the Acorn Wizard, it naturally sets up the wizard for DMM Technology DYN2 or DYN4 servo drives as expected.

What do you mean "I do not have any of these switches configured in the wizard drop downs." do you have a screenshot ?

Is it possible to only use two Acorn inputs for all homing, just home each axis one after ...

Hi, all

Has anyone managed to wire the DYN4 ZRI using only two Acorn inputs?

X-Axis ZRI to Acorn IN1
Y-Axis ZRI to Acorn IN1
Z-Axis ZRI to Acorn IN1

X-home switch, Y-home switch, Z-home switch, wired in series to Acorn IN2

Normally Open switch, Normally closed switch ?
