It looks pretty good. Not sure how us old guys got our machines up and running with just a few of those pages years ago, LOL I guess a lot of that info has always been out there, just scattered all over the place.

Regarding PWM output and Laser interface, it would be beneficial to call this out on the DB25 header connection that output 2 of the DB25 is utilized when considering drive connection configuration.
A link to the laser interface/configuration document would be helpful
Clarification on the 0-10VDC spindle control and PWM for some spindle controls are sourced from two separate locations

Re: Draft Acorn Installation Manual for comment
I agree with Gary, this pic is a must in the manual. Buyers need to know where to hook up their prospective drives to the Acorn. I know there are a few hybrid steppers that will hook to the headers but 9 out of 10 wire to the DB25. I see this topic is addressed on page 32 of your DRAFT and that might be a good place for this pic. This may come as a shock Keith but many don't read the manuals (or wiring diagrams) so a pic can be worth a thousand words.

Great comments, please keep them coming! Some of us that worked on the document stared at it for so long, we can no longer see the forest from the trees!

Re: Draft Acorn Installation Manual for comment
Wow, this is great! I can see a lot of work went into this. I wish I had it when I started down the Acorn path.
