Need Help, CNC12 Unresponsive After Tool Path <com errors >

Hello, I have a question on running CNC12 after running a tool path. I've loaded the new version of Acorn (5.08), on my CNC Router. All functions work properly until I finish any given tool path. After a tool path has finished, the Router stops as it should and goes back to WCS zeros. Problem is; I can not control any functions after the machine finishes the tool path. Nothing on the computer screen will control my CNC. I have to reboot the CNC12 software to control the machine to continue and enter a new tool path. Versions 4.08 & 5.06 did not do this as I could continue after each tool path.
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you, Will. :?

Hi Will, you'll need to post a CURRENT report of your machine for anyone to determine what the issue is. I'm guessing noise and communication errors but a report will tell us more.

OMG, do you have a noise/communication issue. Look at your error log and you'll see all the communication errors. Did you run the COM stress test when you initially set up the machine? If you did it would have failed for sure.

Go over every detail in this post on your system to solve these issues before proceeding:

Your turns ratio are also WAY outside the sweet spot for a router. See this post for more details:

Found two issues and corrected them. First one being that I loaded 5.08 32bit version instead of the 64 bit version on my windows 10 computer. Second I re-routed the eithernet cable in my machine directly into the Acorn board instead of a through a bulkhead connector. I ran a tool program and the machine parked on the WCS zero's and it still was functional as it should be. So...I will look into the other issues from the report as you mentioned. Thank you for your help!

Glad you are making progress. No bulkhead connectors on the CAT5 cable. Check you ethernet card if it's Intel, there are different settings for those cards. Review your error log after you make the changes and check for pc resends and other communication errors. When those are gone you should be good to go. Be sure to run these test cuts with the spindle on as well.

make sure you have a shielded ethernet cable,
bulk head connectors can be used IF they are also the shielded variety.
