When i type in the " Alt i " to open diagnostics, nothing happens. Can't get the PLC diagnostics to open.

If you are using a much older version, and happen to have Keyboard Jogging enabled (bright green box showing that it's enabled), turn that off first with Alt-j, and then try Alt-i again. I've seen that happen with the older releases (4.6xx).

I see it's a plasma setup, so I'm not sure on that one.

I am new to the acorn systems, just purchased the kit along with new closed loop motors. we also have another small problem.
When we put the Torch float switch on the input 2, it does not change the gray color to red or green and won't allow us to specify the status of switch
and locks up all axis movements. really appreciate your help in figuring out my problems.

Can you Please post a fresh report.
You can create a report in the F7 Utility menu.
F7 Utility - F7 create report

In the Wizard the Float switch settings are under the Torch Setup menu.

Your looking for the Torch Touch Off menu on the left .
